African Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO AFRICA) held its General Assembly in Yaoundé (Cameroon)

African Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO AFRICA) has a pleasure to announce that it was held on 28 April  2018 in Youndé (Cameroon) during its 2018 African Kickboxing Championships.

The General Assembly took place  with participation of 15 African official national Kickboxing Federations members and decision of renewal of the Executive and election of new members of the Board of the African Kickboxing Confederation at the AASC headquarters in Yaoundé from 9:00 to 12:00..

Mr. Emmanuel Essissima, President of African Confederation and President of Camerron Kickboxing Federation was re-elected as President of Confederation by unanimous decision by General Assembly.

The General Assembly deliberated for the positions of President, 2 Vice Presidents and 6 Board members on individual nomination.

The General Assembly elected the following executives by individual decision who will stay in charge for four (4) years (2016-2020):

– President : Emmanuel ESSISSIMA (Cameroon)
– Vice President: Driss ELHILALI (Morocco)
– General Secretary: Eric Richard ELLA-BEKALE (Gabon)
– Member of the Board, Acting Assistant General Secretary and Treasurer : Sylvie Djoh Assen (Cameroun)
– Member of the Board : Mohammad Sherif (Libya)
Other Board members including Presidents of the Zones:
– President of Zone 1, Member of the Board: Mr. Abbes ESSAID, (Algeria),
– President of Zone 2, Member of the Board: Parfait DOUKROU (Cote d’Ivoire),
– President of Zone 4, Member of the Board: Servais OBAME OKE (Gabon),
– President of Zone 5, Member of the Board: Gabrielle RABY SAVATSARA (Madagascar),
– President and Board of Directors are in charge of the Zone 3 until election of the President of the Zone 3.
